Safer homes

Helping local people get back on their feet and feeling safer at home after being a victim of crime are the aims of a scheme funded by the Safer Harlow Partnership. The Safer Homes Project, run by the Papworth Trust as part of its Harlow Care and Repair service, gives security advice and assistance to victims of crime. Harlow Council, Victim Support, Women’s Aid, Harlow Police and Age Concern are all closely involved in the project, which has supported over 120 individuals in the last year.
