Close partnership working in the town is to continue between Harlow Council, Essex Trading Standards and Essex Police to reduce underage alcohol drinking with the announcement of a new crackdown, being supported by the Safer Harlow Partnership.
The new crackdown starts in mid July and the organisations will work together on the following areas:
• Underage public consumption of alcohol
• Underage consumption of alcohol in licensed premises
• Alcohol being sold to minors
• Adults purchasing alcohol on behalf of minors.

In response to residents’ concerns about road safety in Bush Fair, agencies of the Safer Harlow Partnership, Harlow Council along with Essex Traffic Police, Harlow Police and Essex County Council have been working together on a joint operation to make roads safer in the area.

Harlow Council has received complaints of anti-social behaviour
including, noise nuisance, drinking and general anti-social behaviour.
Two gates, one at either end of the alley have been installed as part of the clampdown on anti-social behaviour across the town.
