For the past two weeks, Harlow Study Centre has been the home to the Crucial Crew event for 2007.
Produced and funded by the Safer Harlow Partnership, Crucial Crew is an interactive scenario based event with the aim of equipping every year 6 school child in the town with a broad knowledge of personal safety issues that they are likely to face once they go off to senior school and the wider world.

Helping local people get back on their feet and feeling safer at home after being a victim of crime are the aims of a scheme funded by the Safer Harlow Partnership.
The Safer Homes Project, run by the Papworth Trust as part of its Harlow Care and Repair service, gives security advice and assistance to victims of crime. Harlow Council, Victim Support, Women’s Aid, Harlow Police and Age Concern are all closely involved in the project, which has supported over 120 individuals in the last year.

Members of the public and local schools had the unique opportunity to see behind the scenes of the criminal justice system Monday November 20th at Harlow Magistrates Court.
An open day was held at Harlow Magistrates court between 11am and 4pm on Monday November 20, as part of Inside Justice Week 2006.
